i can't find any info on my Asus WMT-LX about how high of a cpu it can take. I looked on the asus website and found no info. plz help!

Whats in it now? Most likely it wont take much higher CPU than whats there. Is it a AMD or Pentium?

I just checked and that Motherboard only holds a maximum of 512 MB memory. So this must be an older machine and it would be better to upgrade.

it came from a vaio soket 423 p4 1.3 but i was hoping i get it up to 1.7 either by over clocking it or buying a $50 cpu. Yes i have 512 pc 800 already in it. I just don't want to shell out alot of money to upgread it.
