Hi,
I am new to the forum so hope I have picked the correct place to post this problem. Thanks in advance to all that read and hopefully help with my problem.
I have an Asus laptop (details below) which I need to dismantle to get to the power jack for repair. It has developed a very intermittent connection( the centre male connection is loose).
I have undone all the visible tiny Phillips screws in the bottom and two hidden under the DVD writer but still cannot remove the bottom.
Can someone help with the disassembly instructions for this laptop.
Windows XP, Asus W3000 Laptop, Model W3H00A24M Pad Mouse, 1Gb Ram, Integrated VGA.

Hi,
Thank you very much for your reply, at the moment however I can't find anything specific to the Asus and the Toshiba info seems subtlely different...I will keep looking though.
Thanks

The W3000 is broken down into subets of W3 plus an additional letter. That is the same model I came up with when on The Asustek site.

Hi,
Thanks again for your reply, the exact model detail on my laptop is W3000(large label) but then on a smaller label along with a bar code and serial is...W3H00A24M.
The frustrating part is that I can remove covers easily to get to the CPU Ram etc but it is the complete removal of the bottom cover to get to the power jack that is beating me at the moment.
