Hi,all
I have this asus TUA266 board, celeron 1.2G, 256M, Nvdia Gforce 2MX400, winxp. When I run most of the 3D games (like ghost recon, american army...) the computer just locks up when loading the game, or just crashes during the game. I have the lastest driver for video card and im pretty sure its not the video card's problem since i can run the same game on my old computer with the same video card but slower CPU and motherboard. I borrowed a friends video card with higher performance, same problem still happens. So I suspect it must be my motherboards problem. Im wondring if anyone else using the same board running the same kind of games, do you experience similar kind of porblem? Also anyone have any suggestions how to solve this problem?
I have same problem, when I ran my dxdiag file,my AGP Texture Acceleration was disabled I was on mobo drivers 1.70,I would play combatmission beyond overloard when the agp text-accel was disabled, not of my doing it would run fine, but I have a hard time getting on Dark Age of Camelot or when loading bar would be done it would freeze, then I put in new mobo drivers 1.90 from ALI web site, the agp-text-accel would be enabled but now I could play the combatmission game for more 30-secs then it would freeze-I have direct-X-9-512-ddr-ram Gainward-G-Forece-4-4400-128mb-golden sample, so I unenstalled mobo-dvrs-1.90 and put in oring-1.70-for my cmbo game, this sucks all this jiuce-p-111-1.2 tualatin, all the goodies and this thing freezes with games.=).
