That mboard model is an OEM only model - it was made only for brand name system builders, there is no retail Asus PTGD-LA model, and the Asus web site has no support for it.

Go to the web site of the maker of the brand name system it is in, and look up the drivers for the specific brand name model. The audio drivers will be there for you to download

If you don't know the specific model of the system it is in, if it's a HP or Compaq computer
Go here:

Scroll down a bit.

Note the
- specific model number - at the end of the first line
- the Product Number - p/n - on the third line

Find those on your label.

Copy down both of them.

Then go here

and use the specific model or the Product Number to search with for support for it.
If you use the Product Number to search the HP web site with, do not use the # and the characters after it to search with.

Here's the manual:

The audio chip is the Realtek ALC880. Here's another site that confirms it:

Drivers will be found at the Realtek site:

That's a different mboard - PTDG1-LA

There's no 1 in his model "number".

Same audio codec though.
