Hi. I have Asus probe come on everytime I turn on my PC. I'm just going through the settings and see the power fan and cpu fan values at zero with a flashing message that the power fan and cpu fan are "below threshold". Does this mean the fans are failing or don't work?

Both PSU and CPU fans are spinning just fine, it seems to me and all the temperatures and voltages seem to be right where they should be.

There's no help file with this program that I can find so any help as to what this all means would be appreciated.

Thanks

Sorry I misspoke. Its the power fan and the chassis fan. I don't have a chassis fan so that explains that. But the power supply fan is reading at 0 even though its spinning, seemingly just fine.

Its a Tsunami xp320 PSU if that helps.

Thanks

Sorry, more followup. I went into the BIOS and checked the Hardware monitor section and it has CPU fan speed and Chassis fan speed. No PSU fan speed.

Could this be the problem? Does Asus probe basically report the items listed in the BIOS and if there is no PSU fan speed listed in the BIOS, Asus PC Probe just reports it as a zero?

Thanks again

The PSU fan PCProbe and your BIOS are referring to, NOT the primary fan, but a 2nd which also uses a seperate connector.
Unless you have 2 fans in your PSU you have nothing to worry about.
Just uncheck the box where it says PSU fan.
