asus N50V laptop screen problems

Specs: Windows Vista, T6400
My ASUS N50V laptop screen has recently started flickering, similar to an old TV when the vertical hold needs adjusting. I feel like bashing it to try and fix it. Help

had the same trouble with my laptop screen would only stay clear in certain positions. There are eight small philips head screws under the rubber pads around your screen remove these and the plastic edge around your screen can be removed. behind the plastic cover below your LCD screen is a small electronic curcuit that the wires from your screen plug into, unplug the terminals and and clean the terminals contacts on the curcuit board. plug wires back into curcuit board and test before replacing plastic cover.REMOVE BATTERY BEFORE removing plastic screen frame. I did this and have not had a problem since. If you find this a bit to hard, Your local computer dude should be able to do it in about 30 minutes. Hope this helps
