Hello,my built in webcam is not working for
asus f8v.I tried go to device manager and it
say my webcam work properly.I tried
uninstalled the webcam.Then i installed it
again using the installer in the cd given,but still
my webcam not working.Then i tried go to the
asus website and downloaded the
installer,install it,still nothing change on my
webcam.When i open asus lifeframe,he said
"the camera is used by another program".Then
i tried on skype and yahoo messenger,both of
them cannot detect my webcam.I tried google
for this problem too and search for the
advise.All the advise i had tried but nothing
work out.I even tried scan my computer for
virus wondering this problem might come from
virus,but no virus detected.
my webcam "USB 2.0 1.3M UVC WebCam"So,is there any other advise to solve my
problem other than just by new webcam,

try this go to C:\Program Files (x86)\ASUS\ASUS LifeFrame3
right click on LifeFrame go to properties
click compatibility tab
then check run this program as an administrator, click apply and OK
Please excuse the dumb question, but have you tried re-booting?
Hey this happens because you still have the software running in the background with msn just close off the lifefram windows (where you can preview yourself) and then you would be able to use your webcam on msn :)
