Asus laptop screen display problems

February 10, 2010 at 16:53:08
Specs: Windows Vista

I have been having numerous problems with my asus notebook, and have already tried to contact asus technical support (which didnt help), and then my friend told me about this site so i thought id give it a try. ok...

I have been having problems with my display driver. Most time a restart my computer my screen goes fuzzy, then black, and then normal with a little box saying "display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered." This isnt too bad but sometimes it happens and it doesnt recover. I then restart my computer and it stays on the asus bootup screen. I have t do a reset on my computer (not a total one just holding down the power button for 10 seconds wihtout a batterey). It finally works and then the problem starts happening again. Plesase help me i will give u any specs u request or need.

Computer Knowledge: Good

THanks so much in advance

Uninstall the current graphics drivers, then install this one:
