hello
recheck all your cable conectins.and recheck all jumper settings.
check to make sure all cables are in proper placement. check front cables are in proper places this could cause it not to boot and some in the wroung place can fry things badly. sounds like your safe so fare.
check on off switch on psu.

the only thing it could be doing w/ the case is shorting. put the mobo on a anti static bag and turn it on outside of the case. that will tell u if its shorting.
I just had the same problem you had. no fans spinning, no LEDS, no PS fans, nothing.
I deduced it was the mobo.
if it was the CPU, the fans would still spin, if the mem, the fans would spin and u would get a beep code. thus leaving the mobo.
i verified the PS was good as well.

Joe,

I am having the exact same problem. Did you ever get it resolved?

I have tried two cases.

Nothing happens. I mean nothing.

I got the same motherboard - with a pre-built system from a company I wont mention. The power works fine but both fans dont work (the chassis fan and the power fan). I opened her up and I saw that the dudes from the computer company hooked the fan connectors into the powersupply. The fans should be connected to the motherboard, not the powersupply (I dont know if this was the case with why your fans didnt work). My mobo has a recepticle to receive the chassis fan connector, but the space for power fan on the mother board has no plastic recepticle on it, so i dont know how to connect that one. Can you buy those little plastic connector thingies anywhere?
