I was wondering if you guys can help out my friend that just bought a (Asus socket A A7V266-E/AA) motherboard?I tried helping him out also,but im also confused.He is searching for a amd cpu that is compatible with this mobo,but it seems that he is having a hard time finding a dealer online,or in his local area.HE had mentioned that he did research on what cpu` is compatible with the mobo,and he narrowed his search and price limit to a Athlon xp 1800- 2200.When he chekced the asus site the motherboard support of cpu stated that theses are the following compatible cpu`s...

Go with the Asus recommendations...make sure he has the latest BIOS version.
