I recently got my new motherboard in, an ASUS A7N8X motherboard. I'm totally new to the whole PC from scratch buisiness, but I'm not a total moron. Anyway, my case, an Antec LANBOY aluminum ATX minitower, has a few LEDs that I have no idea where to hook up. On the reference card that came with the motherboard, and in all of the manuals, it doesn't show where to connect the HDD LED. It also has 2 other LEDs, labeled "I" and "II". Supposedly they're just spare LEDs, but I'd like to know where and how to use them. Thanks in advance for any help, I'm anxious to get this thing working.

the hdd led may be called the ide led.

That problem at least l can help you with. Your HDD LED actually sits apart from where you are plugging everything else from your case. Look up and a little to the left from where you are attaching everything now. It is labelled IDELED1 on the motherboard and in your manual.
