Specs: Windows Vista, Intel Core 2 CPU, 6600 @ 2.40GHz (2 CPUs), ~2.4GHz / 2046MB RAM
Is there a way to assign my power button to another key using BIOS? If so, please let me know how, there was a previous post with this same problem, and they said its possible, but why would you want to, and the original person didn't reply, and its too old for me to bump it. The reason why I would like to is because my power button on my tower is screwed up.

Probably not The function is not software comfigurable. The power switch is single pole normally open momentary contact switch. You can get one from a discarded old computer or a computer hardware store or Radio Shack.

Only problem is that this is a Dell XPS, its a clusterf*** of stuff, I'm not sure I'd even be able to replace the power button without actually having Dell do it, which would cost way too much since my warranty expired
