Specs: Windows XP, 2 gb ram/coer 2 duo e7500
i upgraded my processor from a duo core to a core 2 dou e7500, and upgraded the psu to 630 wats from 380. but the graphics card is not giving out any signal, the fan is spinning, i tried out the card on another machine and it worked. i have also changed bios setting to pci express but with no success. so what could be th matter?

Which CPU was the original? A Pentium Dual core is basically a Core 2 Duo with less L2 cache, They can usually be overclocked enough to give similar performance. The 8400GS isn't a gaming card & doesn't require a lot of power. The power supply upgrade may not have been necessary. Even so, going from a 380W to a 630W isn't necessarily an upgrade. We'd need to know the make/model of each unit to be able to compare the specs. Does the new PSU have a 24-pin main ATX plug? Did you try the old power supply again to see what happens?
