Is this a new build or is it a system that was working and has developed a problem?
From images of the board it appears to require both a 24 pin main power connector plus an 8 pin for the CPU.

Possible Power Supply Unit (PSU) fault. If the PSU fan will not keep running remove its connections and try the paper clip test:

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

The Paperclip test will not tell the full story. I had to return a brand new 950W (Generic) powersupply. The paperclip would properly start up the internal fan but when a load was placed on the powersupply by connecting to motherboard, it remained completely unresponsive. Was a cheap piece of garbage.

Yep, paper clip will only tell you it's not even able to work the fan, but it does not mean it is OK in all respects.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
