When replacing the KB on an Aspire 5570, I broke the little wedge piece that holds the KB ribbon cable to the motherboard connector. I can't find anyone who has a replacement part. Everyone wants to sell me a new motherboard. This is a free-standing and fragile piece. I would think it is almost a consumable to be replaced every time you reconnect the ribbon cable. Can anyone help me find this part?

How about using a dab of epoxy to hold it in place?

Do not epoxy. The missing piece acts as a wedge to apply
pressure on the ribbon. You might try cutting a piece from a
rubber eraser.

donnot use epoxy.cut a part of non-conducting insulator to replace the missing part.
