Comment:

The AC adaptor cord accidentally got pulled out of my Acer Aspire 5315 and now when I turn on the machine it won't load past the Acer screen. F2 into bios won't work neither and stalls at please wait.... The Hdd indicator is flashing though. The laptop came with Vista, but I now have XP installed and so deleted eRecovery and the hidden partition when I formatted the hard drive. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

All that *should* have happened when the cord was pulled is that your system should have switched over to battery power.

I didn't have the battery in. I know it was a silly thing to let happen.
