i installed a program from their cd called @BIOS.
it updates the bios from windows.

"scanning bios image in hard drive. can not find bios image in hard drive or diskette".
please help!

Uh oh....

Go to the Website and see if thay offer a manual method of BIOS flashing.

If not I would call support and YELL REAL LOUD that their fine Internet based BIOS upgrade hosed your new board.

Upgrading a Bios is dangerous. I would `always' do it from DOS.

Just called Gigabyte Helpdesk. They say, we need the bios-chip reprogrammed, it costs 34 EUR. Nothing to do about, Iīm afraid. Iīve tried to copy some BIOS Images to a new Harddrive, it seeks for it, but it doesnīt load at all. Bad luck. And they say NOT to use the @bios tool. Isnīt this a good advice, to give us users the opportunity to flash under windows, and if somethings goes wrong, they say: hey, donīt use this tool.
