for around 1 week now my Cd-rw has been acting up ...i kept on getting "medium speed error" "could not perfrom fixation" errors from Nero..i got Easy cd creator and the errors i get here are "buffer underun occured"...so far this is what i have done ..i downloaded firmware for my CD-RW ,unchecked "enable CD copying" in the CD-Rw properties through my computer,checked and rechecked my burning mediums (they are perfectly fine)..also in nero when i burnt at slow speeds the progress bar would fill up ..the program would say that the CD was copied successfully but yet when i check the CD there is no data at all please im in urjent need of any help .. i would greatly appreciate it. thanx

Sounds like a defective burner. I had a brand new drive that caused those errors, and it actually burned a pinhole through a blank cd. Try a different burner to see if errors continue. HTH
