Hello. This is my first posting on your site. I'm
experiencing a new and rather strange problem
with my apple wireless keyboard.
About 2 days ago my keyboard started typing
the wrong characters. It doesn't just use a
wrong character instead of the right one, it
often inserts 2 letters instead of one correct
letter. For instance, when i type "i", it types
"it", instead of "k", "kg" and instead of "8",
I tried to fix the problem from the System
Preferences, but everything looks fine there.
Here is an example of uncorrected typing:

Hello. IThits its my fitrsit posititngk on your
siteit. it'm experitencitngk a new and raither
sitrangke prob, lem with my apple witreless

I would really appreciate some help.
Sorry for the long post.

I would suspect a hardware problem, seeing as how all the mistyped letters are equidistant from the correct one. Your keyboard may need cleaning.

Thanks for the reply, idisjunction.
I've noticed the fact that the keys are equidistant, also.
It's strange, though, that the keyboard needs cleaning after
being in use for just half a year.
