Hi everyone,

I just got this external dial up modem, it's an old AOpen FM56ex 2 with the 2Mb Rom. I found the driver for XP on Aopen site and it's working quite well except for one VERY annoying thing.

After a while the modem will stop to transmit any data upstream or downstream and won't resume until I reconnect. It seems to be happening quite randomly, usually after 2 hours and up. I don't know what's causing that, I've been looking for init string but they don't seem to be anywhere on the net and Aopen have the modem in their museum section so go try to get some help from them :P

If any of you can help or have any idea it would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance.
