ATI's software bundle has alot in it. I don't think that I really need all of it but I am not sure if the program will run correctly if I take some of them out. One being the Hydrovision. I use just a monitor for display and nothing else. I want to take the Hydrovision out but I am worried that I will mess something up. I've checked into the user's manual but it didn't say anything about whether I do need it or not. Any suggestions??

As long as you don't mess with the drivers themselves, any additional utility programs can be removed. Don't try to edit the drivers or you will have problems. If worse comes to worse and you mess up, just delete the drivers and then reinstall them.

Hydravision is more over multiple monitor/desktop settings. Here is ATI's despcription:

For normal mode graphic you need the driver only.
The little tool beside the clock maybe handy to change resolution, refresh rate and so on but you can do it also from the control panel!

I haven't installed the software yet because xp already installed the drivers for the card and the win. update installed an updated driver. But I still have a primary display and secondary. My monitor shows to be on the primary so do I need the secondary??
