MSI motherboards are supposed to kick some serious ass.
Not sure about Syntaz or QDI.

I agree. Asus and MSI Are both very good manufactures. You could also add Abit to the the list as well.
Never heard of Syntaz or QDI.

I have used Biostar's m7tdb, FIC's ka6110, And MSI's 7008. The Biostar used sdram and a Willimette p4 chip. The FIC is my p3 system. The MSI is my current system running a Northwood p4 chip and some rather fast ddr ram. The Biostar ran for several good years before being retired. Not due to failure but wanting to run ddr ram, which it would not. The FIC is still humming along. Going on 7 years old. The MSI is the latest to join my stable. So far so good. Soyo is stable and fast. Abit is low cost. And my friends running AMD systems swear by ASUS. Now my question back to you is are you getting ready to build a new system?
I may be crazy, but I'm not stupid...
