Hello. I currently use a external keyboard with a PS/2 to USB adapter connected to a USB port in my laptop.

Every once in a while or around an hour while I'm typing something, all 3 keyboard lights would flash on, off(blink), then go back to normal. This incident caused my keyboard to be unresponsive for a second, and causing my typing to be inaccurate.

This is one of the most annoying things I have ever encountered when I bought a new keyboard for the first time in a few years.

Has anyone else ever ran into these type of problems before?

Assuming that you don't have a PS2 port, I would suggest purchasing a USB keyboard. I don't trust those adapters.

I agree, those adapters can sometimes cause a few quirks with certain keyboards.

It sounds like power to the keyboard is quickly being cut off and then turned back on, because keyboards usually flash all of their lights when the computer is turned on and power is supplied to them.

My advice, find a USB keyboard or use the built-in one on the laptop.

Thats what I figured. The keyboard I bought
wasn't a price of trash. It was supposed to be
for a desktop computer I guess.

So I'm back to this Logitech Ultra X flat
keyboard for now.

There aren't many USB keyboards with
appealing designs that actually work.

Now I gotta figure out how I can assign hot keys to fire up a calculator because this one doesn't have it.
