Annoying beep AC Adapter

This laptop produces an annoying beep when the ac adapter is removed or when it gets plugged in. It's one annoying beep but I hate it. Is there anything I can do to stop this behavior?

That's probably normal. Several machines let you know that they're connected to the charger by an audio signal. Likely the only way to disable it would be in the BIOS setup. If it's not there, then you'll probably just have to live with it...

In XP, Go to control panel, sounds and audio devices, click the advanced button in the device volume section in volume tab, make the PC beep option mute. If you dont see the option, go to options -> properties in the sam window, enable the "Show PC beep control"

I am on Windows 7. I don't can't find that for some reason.
