AMI BIOS v02.61 - no HDD - using CF card

BIOS recognises bootable USB stick but with bootable CF says the HDD:SS-CF card has been disabled in type menu - which type menu ??

My guess is another area of bios.

Might be that your cf adapter and/or card have issues. Some cards and adapters are not fully compliant as a hard drive.

Thank you -I'm beginning to suspect that the CF card has a bit set for 'Fixed' or 'Removable' - but how to change it - that is a new question
