I can't find a consistent answer on what the max safe operating temp is (full load working all out but not overclocked) on my AMDX2 4400. Google it and I get mixed messages from different sights. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm glad that this helps salty.
I find it interesting that they give a max temp range of 49-71C. That seems like a wide range and this computer has an Athlon 1.4GHz CPU running 55C right now.
"AMD X2 4400 max temp" is what I ran my Google search on.

Agree 49-71C is an odd "Max Temp".

The are probably figuring idle and load operational discrepancies within the range.

Still, that seems like a broad range.
But, it does come directly from AMD.

Now my CPU temp Idle is 37C and running full out and OC'ed is 44. Any problems with it being so low?
