Allow me to get things started. Intel is better for this and that. AMD has better blank, and blank, but on the other hand Intel does have.... mmm, Apples are so delicious and makes for a good toothbrush, but oranges are packed full of Vitamin C and have a strong protective outer shell. I personally prefer the Centrino CPU...lol

Also the Centrino Duo mobile technology is now available with Conroe CPUs from Intel and those will outperform the Turion X2 from AMD.
In otherwords, the AMD Turion X2 normally edges out the older Core Duo based Centrino Duo notebooks, but the Core 2 Duo based Centrino Duo notebooks edges out the AMD Turion X2 laptops.
