I am going to build or buy a new system, mostly for gaming as far as the hardware goes. What is the best CPU a AMD 64 X2 2.2 ghz or a Pentium D 935 3.2 ghz? I usually buy AMD but someone recently told me the Pentium D out does the AMD big time now but I don't know if that is true. Is the Pentium D 935 3.2 ghz a dual core CPU? Thanks.

Could it be that this "someone" was referring to the Core 2 Duo & not the Pentium D? "Is the Pentium D 935 3.2 ghz a dual core CPU?" I believe the 'D' in the model number = Dual-core.
