Ambient temperature sensor not working

August 3, 2010 at 15:13:15
Specs: Windows 7

I have detected a problem with my temperature sensor. I use the normal temperature sensor, and i use another program. The problem is, one reads 28 degrees celcius, whilst the other one reads 65 and plus. This then leads to my computer not faning properly, and randomly rebooting. If anyone has an idea what is causing this problem, please help me

Third party monitoring programs may be picking up the wrong sensor data or may need to be programmed to use the sensor that is on your board/chip.

What program and version of third party monitor are you using.

FYI, the BIOS readings should be the most accurate ones.
