All USB devices and ports not working

Specs: Windows 7 Home Premium SP1, AMD Phenom II x6 1055T
Hi there, got some problems in my PC

Symptom: All USB stopped working

How it happened:
It started from yesterday. when I disconnected and reconnected a USB thumb drive [Kingston DT101], it showed up as 8MB instead of 16GB. tried some formatting but didn't work, so I unplugged it.

Then today when I booted into windows, all USB just doesn't function anymore. Everything else work as usual. Except I can't make any input and no Internet connection, since those are USB devices.

Attempted solutions:
Unplug and reconnect devices: No luck
Boot in safemode: Still not working

Some thoughts:
My USB k/b and mouse DO work in I think it's something wrong with the driver files in windows?

AMD Phenom II 1055T
Windows 7 Home Premium SP1
(Not updated within the period)

USB Devices:
Logitech KB/M combo
Wireless receiver
HP inkjet printer
iPod touch

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance.

Control Panel > Device Manager
At the bottom of the list you will see "Universal Serial Bus Controllers"
For each entry under the USB controllers, right click and Uninstall
When they are all gone, reboot your computer
Windows will redetect all the USB ports and should install them again to be in working order
