Alert ! previous fan failure

Every time I boot I get message "Alert! previous far failure".
Does anyone know why?

No reason, it's just the Dell's BIOS telling you that one of the fans has failed or at least it doesn't detect that one is running. Open the case and check the CPU fan and chassis fan if ones installed.
