Comment:
Bought used 2940W SCSi card. Plugged it into PCI slot. Before operating system boots I get message to set up bios on the card by pushing ctrl and A. Fine, get colored dos screen up saying:
An AHA-2940W PCI to SCSI HOst Adapter was not detected in your system
Make sure the card is properly seated Please press any key to exit.
This is bios utility v1.11S
Well card is darn well inserted (tried all slots) as this utility had to come off the card. I didnt get any floppy or anything.
I need to know if card is bad so I can try and get my money back. Until bios is set, I cant boot from SCSI hardrive.
