i know my computer is ancient, but i just wanted to know how much of a performance increase would there be if i were able to upgrade from my current ati radeon 9200 se 128 mb pci card to an agp 4x card? only way i can use agp is if i get a new mobo (i have no agp slot cause I used to have a celeron in my PC) but that's pointless for socket 370. but im just wondering what the performance increase would be. would it be little or none, or possibly real great? again just curious, i dont plan on upgrading (ill just buy a new pc for that)

But you are correct about not bothering with any upgrade to your current rig. Being a Compaq it isn't likely you could fit a generic board into it anyway. I used to have a signature but it disappeared and I just couldn't be bothered writing another so please feel free to ingore this.
