I am having a heck of a time finding the AGP voltage info on this card:

S3 Savage 2000 64mb with tv out

AGP 4x/2x support.

I can't seem to find it at S3 graphics website.

The motherboard states CAUTION This AGP Slot can support 1.5V ONLY. and has a sticker covering the slot.

I know it's a cheap probably junky card but it's better than the onboard in this test pc.

Can someone help me find a site that states this video card's specific voltage?

I'm about googled out.

Thanks
Chad

i have same mobo and looked into this. when ASUS say you need a 1.5v AGP card, this means you need a AGP card that supports at least AGP 4X. You say that the Savage supports 2x and 4x , that will be fine.
(what ASUS should say is - Don't use a card that does not support a number higher than 2X) . 2X cards are 3.3volt.

Actually the motherboard is a Soyo K7VME in which i was planing on installing the S3 Card.

My ASUS board has a nVidia FX 5200 running at 8x. Fairly decent card for the cost! Wish the chipset had a fan tho.

Thanks for the info tho mabey i'll give it a try. I don't really care about the card but I hate to waste a good motherboard.

the answer is the same whatever make mobo it is.
if it says 1.5volt only then you must not use a card that wont support anything higher than 2x
