Good name

You make me think is a 1/2 acre 10 miles from the city better than 1 acre 20 miles from city?

Both cards are fine for 2d so get the cheaper. If one card has 3d acceleration it is the better card. If both have it get the cheaper

If you've got both, run 3dmark2001 and see who wins. The agp should win.

well I tried them both with 3dmark 2001
The agp as near as I can tell blew the pci away even though the memory is only 16 meg
the pci scored 821 3d marks
the agp scored 1906 3d marks
I thought I was happy with this comp now I realize its pretty slow

There are two kinds of computers today

Gaming, which are almost never fast enough

Non-gaming, which are almost always fast enough.
