Hi I recently purchased a XFX mobo and XFX 8x agp graphics card. Well after the installation was complete and all the latest drivers were downloaded and installed. I checked in bios and it said that the graphics card mode was 4x (i could not change this setting). is there a way to change this or will it do so automatically when more bandwith is required or what?

(I already checked in device manager to make sure its the right card, and it is)

What model motherboard is it?

Check the manual and see if there's a jumper setting on the mother board.

Please check if your motherboard has onboard video card. If yes, then you need to disable it from BIOS
