Okay, so I have a Geforce 6800 GT installed (AGP version). I want to buy an SGI 1600SW flatpanel. To use it on my PC I need to either buy a $300 adapter, or buy one of the crappy 32MB PCI video cards with the right connector for the 1600sw. I was wondering, could I install the PCI cards next to my 6800 and run two monitors that way?

Why can't you use the card? They should have multiple types of ports available (ie: vga and dvi). If it's two dvi, you can still use a dvi to vga converter (comes with the graphics card).

i'm a bit bewildered by this also. I assume the 32mb PCi card would have usual blue vga socket. if your decent card has white DVI socket then there are adaptors easily available for £5 or less that convert the white DVI to blue vga.
can you give us a website link with pictures of any of the connectors concerned?
