How do i find if my agp slot is 8x besides looking at the motherboard model... before i buy a new agp 8x video card i need to make sure if it can go in my pc

by the way i got a P4S800 Motherboard

Why not go to the Asus site?

It supports AGP 8x.

Go to Motherboard> chipset> northbridge. The AGP speeds supported should be listed there.

ok but i checked the Everest and it says bus type : 4x and i checked my bios and it said 4x also

A 8x video card will work fine in a 4x slot anyway, with minimal difference.

3.4 ghz p4, Msi 7091 Mb, 1.5 gb Ram, x800xt PCI-E
