Alright.... well i've been looking to buy a video card, but the ones that i have been looking at (Ie, Radion 9800 pro 200$) are AGP 8x, and my motherboard only supports 4x. So if i get that video card, will it slow down to my mobo and run at 4x or will i need to get a different video card. If i have to, please suggest one thats 200$ and under. Please Respond thanks :D.

Hi Malachi
As long as the video card is compatable with a 4X slot it will clock down and work with no prob's.
The card spec's will tell you that.
As far as the brand or type is concerned, there are so many on the market one wouldnt know where to start.
Best thing to do find the card that will suit your slot in the price range you are looking for than compare the spec's against a few brands, and choose the one with the best performance spec's.
ONe good brand that springs to mind on a personal note is GAINWARD.
Good luck.

The AGP 8x standard has been out for a little while now, but even so, the performance difference between 4x and 8x are still minimal...and mostly negligible. You shouldn't notice any difference running a card at 4x, nor will the card "slow down".
