I hope someone can help me with my problem. I have a Lenovo y560p, after I updated the bios downloaded in their website, it successfully updated but when I rebooted (as instructed), nothing happened but there is still power on the unit. coz when I eject the optical drive, it is still functioning. Please help me, I desperately need you help.

I would suggest that you contact Lenovo support.

What was it you were trying to fix? The latest BIOS fixes audio stuttering.

A BIOS flash should not be done simply because a newer version is available. And when done on a laptop, it should not be done under battery power, the AC power supply must be connected. As you may have found out, improperly updating the BIOS can turn a computer into a doorstop.

See if the following works: Lenovo ideaPad Y560 BIOS Recovery

EDIT: use the BIOS file in my 1st link to prepare the USB Recovery stick described above

Mr riider, the links you have given no longer exists or it has been erased.

And also the alternative links.

Maybe you have other alternative links?

That's weird, I just tried the links and they work. Try again or try a different browser.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
