Hi folks I have a question regarding the 4 pin extra power connector on AGP cards. Is it the same as the ata/ide power connector? From what i dug up, some sites say it's the same some don't. Thanx

The vast majority of AGP cards requiring supplemental power use standard hard drive/CD-ROM power plugs.
However, some require the smaller floppy drive power connectors, and some even use 6-pin PCI-E connectors (such as the 7950GT AGP card that I'm using).
If you're purchasing a card that uses something other than a hard drive connector, the bundle will usually come with an adaptor that allows you to use a hard drive connector.
