My computer is a Toshiba T4700CT and I am trying to add RAM with a credit card style 4MB memory card. I know the card works as it came out of my T4600C where it worked fine. I inserted the card but still show only the 8MB onboard mem. Tried ESC/F1 to enter BIOS but no option there to change memory. Did reset, no results. Ran Add Hardware from Win Control Panel, didn't detect any new hardware. Any ideas as to how to get the system to detect the new RAM would be greatly appreciated.
