adata drive cant format

Specs: windows 7/Vista 64bit, FX-8350 / 8 GB
Hello,
l have a problem trying to reformat my 250gb adata drive, every single time l try to access the drive, it says the disk is write protected, l cant use it in anyway, when l open it up, it says it needs to format the disk, when l try to format, it says that the disk is write protected, lve try everything l know to access it, nothing makes any difference, l hope you can help ......................

If only all computers were easy it fix or never went wrong, we'd never have forums to help

I assume that this is an external hard drive. What does it say in Disk Manager for the drive?

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

hi, it is a usb flash drive, in the Device manager it says it a mass storage device

If only all computers were easy it fix or never went wrong, we'd never have forums to help

try a gparted live bootable disk
