Has anyone used Acronis TrueImage?

I was trying to use it to make a backup of my hard drive and restore it to a new hard drive but I think I may have screwed up. I made the backup correctly and then installed the new HD and put in the acronis boot cd that I made. I was trying to back up an entire partition but it didn't seem to let me pick the one I wanted so I tried just the folder option and it started but then I hit cancel. Then I tried to restore from the partition again and it froze so I closed it out. Now I can't boot into windows on the HD that wasn't even involved in the process. It just says "reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key"

Your post is a little bit confusing. Did you originally have TWO hard drives installed or are you referring to TWO partitions on the same hard drive?

two hard drives. One with XP, one with vista. I ended up reinstalling Vista b/c I think my boot record got screwed up. The XP hard drive I swapped out for a new HD, hence why I tried using Acronis to put the XP image on it.
