My Acer 5730, won't boot. It turns on, the Acer splash screen appears, and that's about it. I'm running Windows XP... I tried removing and re-seating the RAM, no luck.... It will occasionally boot up.... Any ideas would be appreciated... Thanks

Your hard drive might be going. Backup your data (which you should be doing regardless if you have anything important on it). If not, it's your hard drive controller which would require a motherboard replacement.
