Hi,
Any idea how I can clear a forgotten BIOS supervisor password from this laptop ?
Tried Googling and also searched the Acer site without any luck :-(

http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/CmosPwd Try this but read the instructions and whatever you do, do not kill a laptop password as you will destroy the laptop. Laptop passwords are stored differently than a desktop system.

As the last post was probably too little info. Download the zip file and extract to your c: drive----boot the laptop with a bootable floppy or cd and then follow the instructions in the .txt file. You will need to know what type of bios you have(award,ami ect) then copy down all the bios passwords. They will look like this [rgg4t6]---do not use [ or ]. Good luck
