if i click on SPACE, i see "j". if i click on BACKSPACE, i see "]" on screen. some are fine, but some are off. what can i do to fix this? pls help

Yes, maybe. My son got laptop wet but I didn't see much water on keyboard. I think the laptop was closed then.
Sounds like the liquid got to the keyboard...who knows for sure. You can often find new keyboards online for less than 30 bucks. If you want one of us to look for you, post back the exact model number of your machine.
