Specs: Windows 7 Starter, 1.6Ghz/1GB

Hi, I have a strange problem with my Acer Aspire One D260 (1GB/160GB/Win7Starter).

It works perfectly fine. However it only starts-up with the mains charger plugged in. The battery is working perfectly. It shows 100% fully charged and it stays switched on when the charger is removed. It even restarts without any problems.

Its just on cold start it will not startup.

If your require more info please let me know. Any help would be highly appreciated.

Thank You in advance.

Check bios and see if there is battery settings in there. Some laptops will not boot without power cord if the bios battery setting is set to "maximum life" or some similar setting.

If builders built buildings like programmers wrote programs, then the first woodpecker that came along would destroy civilization.
