I had an Acer Aspire 1642WLMI laptop given to me, but the only problem is the screen doesn't work. The guy told me that shortly after he got it he noticed a red line that went all the way down the screen towards the left. He didn't think much of it cause it was like on the margin line of Microsoft Office and he thought maybe it was supposed to be that way. Well he said it got worse over time until it looks like it does now. I have some pictures of what the screen looks like. The first picture is my laptop hooked up to a monitor using the VGA port in the back Monitor the next picture is what the laptop screen looks like at the same time I took the picture above. Screen
