access my files saved on 1st admin account?

Specs: Windows XP
I had been using my computer on the original Administrator account (from now on called Admin)with no other users or guest accounts. Installed programs saved a lot of music and pictures and music in Administrator folder and on desktop. When going to create an another user account for my son it said I first had to create and Administrator account so I did (from now on called Admin2) and of course gave it full access. I then created limited access account for my son. The Admin2 account does not have any of the music, pictures or installed programs. I deleted the Limited access account, now when turning on there is only the Admin2 account visible.

When I start in Safe Mode there is Admin and Admin2, if I go into Admin all those files, folders, desktop items and programs are there.

In normal mode only Admin2 is visible, how do I access all the Admin information in normal mode while in Admin2 account?

I tried deleting Admin2 account and chaging security setting while in Safe Mode but to no avail.

Please help!!

You need to take ownership of the files, How you do that depends on which version fo XP you are using, Home or Professional In Home version it has to be done from safe mode. While in safe mode you can give Admin2 access from Admin.

Right click on the folder and select Properties. One of the Options is Security. There is an option to have the setting from a folder propagate downwards to all the files in the folder.
